The Tennessee Lottery will celebrate its 10-year anniversary on January 20th and they have their first Mega Millions jackpot winner who won $61 million.

The jackpot winners, Bettina Still of Bellevue, a retired worker with the state of Tennessee, and her son Jonathan, who work for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, have been a faithful lottery players. Years of playing the lottery games together and years of belief that they could win someday.

“Like it’s unreal, really it’s unreal,” Still said on Friday when they came forward to claim the $61 million winning at Tennessee Lottery Office. Still and son chose the lump sum pay-out of about $24.5 million after tax and will split the winnings. They waited nearly a week to claim their jackpot, meantime considering their options and consulting with a financial advisor. The Stills have yet to indicate what they want to do with their windfalls.

The winning ticket for January 3rd 2014 drawing was sold at the Shell Station in Bellevue. The owner Bharat Kabaria will receive $25,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. This winning will help boost their lottery sales as lottery players see them as a good luck store.  Similarly, Tennessee Lottery President and CEO Rebecca Hargrove believed the Stills could help stir up the lottery sales.

Mega changes with bigger prizes in Mega Millions lottery game

Mega Millions change bigger jackpotsBeginning with the October 22nd draw, Mega Millions will have larger and faster growing jackpots. Better odds of winning lower prizes but not jackpot.

Tickets reflecting the changes are on sale now. Minimum jackpot will increase from $12 million to $15 million, and jackpot will grow by at least $5 million after each drawing for the rollover. Good news is – price per ticket stays the same at $1.  However, as good as it sounds, the odds of hitting the jackpot will be 1 in 259 million as opposed to 1 in 175 million. Bigger jackpot but harder to win!

Other changes include the number of white balls will increase to 75 (was 1 to 56) and the number of gold balls or the Mega Ball will decrease to 15 (was 1 to 56). This brings the odds of winning any prize from 1 in 75 to 1 in 15. The prize structure will change too. The second prize will increase from $250,000 to $1 million for matching the first five numbers. The odds are 1 in 18 million, previously, 1 in 3 million. Again bigger prize but slimmer chance.

The Megaplier, a multiplier option which players can opt in to buy for an additional $1 to increase their non-jackpot prizes, will be expanded to include a five factor. What it meant is ticket can now win up to $5 million without matching all six numbers.

The Florida Lottery Secretary, Member of Multi-State Lottery Association Executive Committee, Cynthia O’Connell emphasis “Larger Mega Millions jackpots mean increased profits for the worthy causes supported by U.S. lotteries”

Check out the new complete Mega Millions prize structure and odds for the new game.

BeatLottery is updating the system to reflect on the change and up your chances of winning bigger prizes. Remember to get new sets of high probable winning numbers after these changes.

Tips on how to win the lottery – part 2

Tips on how to win the lottery 1On part 1, we talked about the common tips on how to win the lottery; what number to avoid or to play. Here, we analyse further on how to get the winning numbers.

“Do you believe that lottery is purely random game and cannot be predicted?”

Lottery is a purely random game, but not as random as you may think! Randomly drawn numbers form patterns that can be recognized and predicted by using our sophisticated lottery system. Spotting these patterns in early stages can increase your chances to win significantly. Lottery doesn’t have to be a pure chance play. Our system is based on mathematical probability and extensive statistics of all lottery draws. Good news for you is that you don’t have to worry about any of this because our system will do all the work for you!

“Do you know that creating random numbers is not as easy as you may think?”

From WIKIPEDIA: A random number generator is a computational or physical device designed to generate a sequence of numbers or symbols that lack any pattern, i.e. appear random. Hardware-based systems for random number generation are widely used, but often fall short of this goal, though they may meet some of the statistical tests for randomness intended to ensure that they do not have any easily discernible patterns. Methods for generating random results have existed since ancient times, including dice, coin flipping, the shuffling of playing cards, and many other techniques. (read full article here)

Is winning the lottery all about luck?

To win a jackpot you need more than a ‘little bit of luck’. However, you can’t count on it. Instead use ‘smart luck’ and give the fate a little hand with the precise targeted strategy. Our system will tell you what is probable to happen and what is unlikely to happen. Our system will allow you to win prizes far more often than the odds would normally allow. Keep in mind that the odds to win are extremely high and you can’t win on every single game you play. However, using our system will dramatically reduce these odds and you will win more prizes than before.

“What is most probable will most likely happen. What is least probable will least likely happen.”

How to really win the lottery – proven winning numbers:

Using the common tips above when choosing your winning numbers will still leave you with millions of combinations to choose from. In order to succeed in winning the lottery you have to choose the right strategy to pick the winning numbers. Our system knows what is probable to happen and what is unlikely to happen. This way we can generate combinations which are winning prizes far more often than the odds would normally allow.

“Good news, randomness forms patterns which can be predicted by our system!”

Try it today, pick the lottery and get your sets of the proven most often winning lottery combinations – Mega Millions, PowerBall, Hot Lotto, EuroMillions, Lotto, ThunderBall, Health Lottery, Irish Lotto. You will be playing the most successful and periodically winning numbers.

Tips on how to win the lottery – Part 1

Tips on how to win the lotteryHere are some basic tips which can help you to increase your chances of winning the lottery. Many lottery players don’t realize the most obvious facts that cost them a lot of money yet they win nothing.

Avoid playing birth dates or anniversary dates

The digits cover low numbers that are from 1 to 31. In the past, most of the jackpots included numbers higher than 31. Playing these numbers will reduce your chances to win the lottery.

Don’t play sequential numbers

Example of sequential numbers like these 2-3-4-5-6-7 will not win a jackpot. In the lottery history, the sequence of 5 or 6 numbers have never been drawn.

Don’t play numbers with the same last digits

3-13-23-33-43 Bad idea! This will not win a jackpot. It is not obvious to you when you mark the lottery slip until your ticket is printed. Try to write your desired numbers down on a piece of paper before buying your ticket.

Say no to multiple numbers

Playing multiples like 10-15-20-30-35-40 will bring your odds up straight to the sky. Chances to win, tremendously slim.

Odd or Even numbers

Never play all odd or all even numbers. It never happened in the lottery winning history. Best mix is fifty-fifty selection of odd and even numbers.

How many numbers to play?

If you are deciding whether to play 1 line over a period of 10 draws or 10 lines in 1 draw – you have higher chance to win if you play all 10 combinations in 1 draw than redistribute it over a period of 10 draws. You are multiplying your chances to win the lottery by 10 instead of just 1.

Play numbers from previous draw?

For some reason 1 number from previous draw is often being drawn in the next draw. So when picking your numbers you may pay attention to one of the numbers drawn in the last draw.

In part 2 of Tips on how to win the lottery, we will explain more on how to analyse the past winning numbers and how to use mathematical probability to get the highly probable winning numbers.

Watch for people stealing your website!

Computer ThiefEverybody knows that building a quality website costs time and money. Well, there are people who think that it doesn’t have to be that way and instead of creating their own site with their own ideas they just simply steal your website with complete content and publish under their name!

I didn’t know this was really happening up until one day when we received a notification from one of our user who informed us that someone posted a project on website with this following job description (from 27 May 2013):

I Need A Full Lottery Web Site Done Right, Off Of Another Site

Project Description:

Bid wisely as you are taking and making from another site on web. It will look the same way as the other site, but grammer will change and the member’s area will change as well!

Web Site you will copy from is this url:

#1 Must be able to write a great sales pitch page on the front, as we will tell you what to say, but you will just write it up in a great way to sell the site. As we will tell you all the stuff to say and you just rewrite it in a better way to sell it

#2 site will be based on the powerball for lottery only, for right now

#3 Member’s will be able to sign up on the site.

#4 I have over millions of combinations of numbers and when they sign up to be member, the program will pick from my list of numbers for each member, or I will give them the set of numbers depending on how many set of numbers they will want to have or I determine how many set of numbers they get from the program. Each member, when they sign up has to sign a confidentiality contract from the site on the set of combinations they get. They will also sign a contract or check mark that they will never use the combination of numbers we give them ever again! We will supply the contracts for you on the site, so it make it easy for you.

#5 If you look at the site we want to copy, we will be taking alot off the front page of the site, due to only doing the powerball system, so you will have to do less on making this site.

#6 We must be able to e-mail the members inside the site, see how many member’s there are and there must be a counter ticker on the front page showing how many people signed up as well! We must see which combinations or set of numbers each member has, as this is very important and so is the system inside the site.

#7 Remember, we will supply you with everything you need, you need to just make the site work and copy the design from the site and we will work together on this and you make sure the member’s area works very well and it has to be flawless ,as there is no room for mistake when giving our member’s a set of combinations of number.

#8 Also, when my set of numbers hit for the powerball which we have a 99.9% hit rate each month, it must show when the last time a member would of hit with all are combinations of numbers. Must show on the front of the page or have a link connecting and showing that they would of hit a set of numbers on a certain day as well and past months as well, as we supply all this information and you just add it into the site, but then after site is done we can add into the site for showing the winning numbers!

#9 Also very important in the member’s area. When they also sign up they have to give a full detail of name, address, phone, this must be a must and we have to approve there profile 1st before we give them a set of numbers or the program gives them the numbers that I supply for the site for a member. This is important.

#10 you must be able to talk to us on the phone why working on this site, so we make it clear to each other and what we want done on the site.

#11 We must be able to charge with paypal and clickbank on the site as well, we already have a paypal acoount and a clickbank account as well, so you must be able to set this up, when we are ready to set this end up. This will be the last thing we set up on the site, as you will set all this up after the site is complete, but we might now do this, as we are still deciding on this on.

#12 We must make it clear as this is a agreement for the member, as if the member hits the 1 million, then they have to split the winnings half in half with us after they pay taxes, we get half the winnings of the 1 million winning numbers.

#13 Remember, you are copy the url site above that we have shown you, so make it work like that site as well in the front of site.

Wow! That was a surprise! So we are really getting so popular that people are now trying to copy us? Is this a good or bad news? I decided it was a good news with bad intentions so I contacted the person posting that job request. To my surprise he replied back and asked us for some kind of cooperation in building his “lottery system”. After brief explanation it was clear to me that his system has nothing to do with improving the odds to win but he’s trying purely to get thousands of people to play his numbers and in case someone wins would have to give him 50% share. What a “great” idea indeed! I would like to see that person who would sign up for this and would be willing to spend tons of money by playing some random numbers.

Anyway, I asked him to remove the post and also emailed to and reported this. After few days they removed the post and blocked this user. However, I noticed that he managed to award the project to some developer in India who promised him to copy our website for him. Few months passed and I didn’t bother checking on this “thief” until today when I noticed someone posting tweets about us. So I’ve checked who was it and it pointed me to this website –

To my surprise I saw something very familiar to our website homepage, can you spot the difference? – Homepage – Homepage

(screenshot taken on 25 August 2013)

It didn’t take much time to notice that the 2nd site looks utterly unprofessional and his designer from India didn’t do a good job to try duplicating our site to at least some decent quality. He didn’t even bother to change our social icons – look at that Twitter button “Follow @BeatLottery“. Why bother!

I’ve looked at some other pages and guess what – same result! – How to win the lottery page - HowToWinTheLottery 2013-08-25 at 23.59.51 – How to win the lottery page - HowToWinTheLottery - Screen Shot 2013-08-26 at 00.01.01

This looks to be the exact copy – I didn’t include the whole page but here we are. And there’s more: – PowerBall - Powerball - 2013-08-26 at 00.09.52 – PowerBall - Powerball - Screen Shot 2013-08-26 at 00.08.46

And there’s more pages but I am not going to post them all here.

So who is this guy? At first I thought I’m not going to reveal his name but then on the 2nd thought and for the benefit of all potentially ripped off people, his name is Greg A Thompson (or at least that’s the name he told me). Doing quick WhoIs on his phony website revealed that it’s registered privately but on his site he’s saying something about MSA — Matt’s Script Archive, Inc., a corporation formed under the laws of the State of Colorado. Doing quick Google check it pointed me to some scripts site and also Wiki article but under different name. Maybe he already copied that one too? I don’t know.

So this guy basically doesn’t realise that any copy/duplication of our (or anyone) website, including source code to full functionality and graphics is in violation of the copyright and therefore illegal.

Greg, I think you need some education in this matter so let me tell you what we did about it:

There are couple of ways anyone can report violation of their copyright.

Removing Content From Google

First thing we went to Google and reported copyright infringement.

Here’s the direct link for Google:

Google is quite good in this and blocking this user shouldn’t be a problem.

Quick WhoIs check ( showed us that the domain is registered by GoDaddy so we contacted them and reported copyright infringement.

As they state here:

“, LLC (“Go Daddy”) supports the protection of intellectual property. Whether you are the holder of a trademark, service mark, or copyright, Go Daddy is committed to helping you protect your legal rights.”

Copyright-All-rights-reservedThere are also other options but for now we believe that that’s enough.

Lesson learned – don’t let anyone steal your website but take a stand and do something about it!

I really hope that this guy won’t get away with what he has done and will pay a price!

His system is a scam and I urge everyone staying away from his site which is completely and happily stolen from us!

If you have similar experience, please let us and other people know by posting a comment or sending us an email.

If you are looking for a true winning lottery system, I suggest you look at these 2 sites we developed to truly help people increase their chances to win the jackpot:

How to win  PowerBall, Mega Millions and Hot Lotto

How to win UK Lotto, EuroMillions, ThunderBall, Health Lottery and Irish Lotto

After a week I got a response from GoDaddy:

“Thank you for contacting Go Daddy’s Copyright Claims Department. We have suspended the site in question pending a resolution of this matter. Please allow up to 30 minutes for these changes to take effect. “

Great news! So they really care about copyright ownership and take quick action about persons violating this policy. Now going to their site I can see a much better looking screen:

Say No To Lottery Scams

No to lottery scam sign

There are in fact many smart lottery scammers trying to trick you in every way possible. But we could learn to be smarter and vigilant to avoid all scams.

A computer engineer used to tell all his colleagues, “You don’t need antivirus software; you are antivirus so, make it effective!” If you have not bought a lottery ticket, how would you win a lottery? You can learn more on how to identify lottery scams here.

Lottery scam via email
Many scammers will use big brand names to lure people to a lottery scam. REMEMBER, big brands DO NOT share their client’s emails without their consent. A few months ago out of a sudden, we received emails from non-subscribers asking us if the email they received saying they have won £1 million is truly from us. These people had done the right thing of emailing our official email address found at our website.

The email is obviously not from us. How could you tell? Here are a few things to confirm the email is not from us (refer to the lottery scam email example):

1.    Reply-to email address is from a non company based email address like,, and etc
2.    Sender’s email address again is from a non company based email address like,, and etc
3.    Email inconsistency. Reply-to/Sender’s email address is not the same as the claimed brand name.

Secondly, if you didn’t enter any competition you wouldn’t win any prize. To know for sure you have won any prize, the keyword is ‘double check’. Therefore ensure you:
1.    Check if you have entered any kind of competitions or bought lottery ticket.
2.    Check if the competitions you have joined against the email received are the same competitions or from the same company you bought lottery ticket. NOTE: If you buy lottery ticket from a lottery site, the reply/sender’s email address will be the official lottery company’s email address you have bought the ticket from.
3.    Checks sender’s and reply-to email address. Are they from the brand’s competition you have joined?

Next, this is utterly important. NEVER ever give out your personal information even from your banker until they give you substantial verification to confirm who they are. Banks will verify using information you have provided when you opened an account (which only you know what it is) for safety measure.

It is always good to triple check. Email or call the official contact from the official/claimed big brands’ website and NOT contacting or reply to the suspicious email immediately.

Finally, if you confirmed that it is a scam email. Please inform the claimed brand who is also a victim to the scam or REPORT to any relevant authorities to help STOP THE SCAM.

Possibly the 4th Unclaimed Mega Millions jackpot in the history

Mega Millions unclaimed jackpot winning prizesIncluding Farmville, there are 4 unclaimed Mega Millions jackpots in the history with a combine total of $244 million. What happens to these jackpots’ money?

Mega Millions started in 2002. Same year in December 24th, $68 million jackpot prize was unclaimed. The winning lottery ticket was purchased in New York. In April 25th, 2003 an unclaimed of $46 million winning ticket was sold in Brooklyn, New York. August 1st, 2006 again, New York, unclaimed jackpot of $31 where ticket were bought in Queens.

Should the winner of May 17th draw fail to come forward claiming the jackpot prize, winning ticket that sold in Farmville, Virginia will break the ‘unclaimed-chain’ of New York. However, the lottery winner still has 140 days to claim the prize. The ticket owner will split the $198 million jackpot with another winner from Tinton Falls, New Jersey. They will get $99 million each or $73 million if they opt for one-time cash option.

According to Mega Millions, each participating states will get back all the money that state contributed to the unclaimed jackpot. Each state uses its unclaimed lottery prizes differently. In New York the unclaimed prize money is returned to the prize pool. It is sometimes used to subsidize prizes for large jackpot, promotions and/or special one-time games.

In the states of Virginia, all unclaimed prizes go to the Literary Fund by law. The Literary Fund is used solely for educational purposes. Funding such as upgrading technology in schools, school’s staff retirement funding and more. The lottery has transferred over $222.6 million in unclaimed prizes to the Literary Fund since 1988. In 2012 alone, the transfer was $11.3 million.

Similarly, Virginia Lottery profits is used for public education in the Commonwealth for kindergarten through 12 grade. It has funded over $5 billion to public schools since 1999. At least, $99 million will go to good causes should no one claimed the winning ticket bought in Farmville.

The “Luckiest” Lottery buyer in The World

Lukiest lottery winner Joan R Ginther

She won 4 times lottery, each win worth millions. Is it a coincidental spell of good fortune or there is something more than mere luck?

Somewhere in a town call Bishop, Texas, live a lucky woman who has bought 4 winning lottery tickets from the same local store. First, she won $5.4 million; 10 years later, she won $2 million; then two years after $3 million; and in the spring 2008, she hit a $10 million jackpot.

The odds of this? One in eighteen septillion. How many digit in a septillion? Here is the order after Trillion – Quadrillion, Quintillion, Sextillion, Septillion.  On short scale, septillion is 1024. To put this into perspective, there are one septillion grains of sand on Earth. 18 septillion is simple too great for any of us to imagine.

The lottery winner, Joan R. Ginther, was 63 year-old when she won the jackpot in 2008. She is a former math profession with a PhD from Stanford University specializing in statistics. Due to such a high odds, many believe that this is no sheer luck instead she has beaten the lottery system.

It is absolutely possible. A scratch-off winning tickets cannot be randomly placed because of the chance that they might all bunch up in one pack. Drawn lottery numbers form patterns, patterns can be traced and calculated. Ginther’s case shows that the odd is too great and being a specialist in statistic gives her the advantage to work out the algorithm.

The residents of Bishop seems to believe God was behind it all. Lottery Commission doesn’t suspect foul play and commented that Ginther must have been ‘born under a lucky star’. The IRS, however, might think otherwise but refused to comment. Interestingly, Ginther’s ‘lucky-mart’ has since mysteriously shut down.

Note: We believe mathematics can beat the lottery. We have been working for year improving the formula to identify the patterns. The winner of $590m Powerball jackpot has finally come forward

Gloria C. Mackenzie-$590m Powerball jackpot winner

Gloria C. Mackenzie, 84, a resident of Zephyrhills, Fla., is the sole lottery winner of the largest jackpot in the history.

The $590 million Powerball jackpot for May 18 drawing which the grand prize had accumulated over two months, remained unclaimed for over two weeks. Together with her son, Mackenzie finally came forward to claim her winning and stopped the mystery.

Under the Florida law, the winner’s name had to be revealed. A small town such as Zephyrhills with only about 13,000 in population, it is difficult to keep a secret. Many rumours had been going around after the lottery officer announced the ticket was purchased at a local Publix Supermarket.

Mackenzie who wished to remain low profile had rejected the appearance at the state lottery news conference, released a statement that was read during the conference. She revealed her agreement to split the winnings with her son, Scott. Mackenzie.

“While in line at Publix, another lottery player was kind enough to let me go ahead of them in line to purchase the winning Quick Pick ticket,” Mackenzie said in the statement. “We are grateful for this blessing of winning the Florida Lottery Powerball jackpot and appreciate the interest of the public, the State of Florida and the lottery.”

That lottery player, Mindy Crandell, later told ABC, Mackenzie stepped in front of her when she and her daughter were in line. The clerk offered to ring up Crandell first, but she yielded to the elderly Gloria Mackenzie.

“I’m not upset.” Crandell said. “I mean… maybe there’s something down the road, or she needed it more than we did. Whatever it was, it was meant to be that she had it. Her 10-year-old daughter, Mallory added saying “I hope she is blessed with it. Polite is better than being rich.”

The 84-year-old winner had chosen the option of receiving the $379 million lump sum. No further statement on how she and her son spending the money.

News update 08th September 2013 – Mackenzie reward Crandell?

Many has asked or wonder if Gloria Mackenzie rewarded Mindy Crandell. We have done a thorough research, as of to date, there is NO reports of Gloria Mackenzie giving money to Mandy Crandell.
